We’re going back in time again, to the Well of Eternity (just like MMO Melting Pot predicted months ago – smug mode engaged). We’re going to be fighting alongside Illidan, and beating up Queen Ashzara – possibly not for the last time, if you believe the predictions about future expansions – along with apostrophe fiends Peroth’arn, Captain Varo’then and Mannoroth. It’s all good, solid demon-bashing fun in WoW Patch 4.3! And we’ve got your tactics here – nothing fancy, just the bare minimum you need to know to survive.
If there’s someone else in your group who isn’t certain about the tactics either, click in the text box below each boss to auto-select a single line of tactics, checked so it’ll fit into party chat. CTRL+C or Cmd+C on a Mac to copy it, go back into WoW, start Party Chat, and CTRL+V or Cmd+V to paste all the tactics your group needs!
Dungeon Info
Follow Illidan for the first part of the dungeon. After you kill Ashzara, click on a dragon to go to the next area. Click the dragon again to skip the cutscene.
Copy-pasteable tactics for Raid Chat (click to select all):Petroth’arn
- Don’t stand in the bad.
- When the boss vanishes, stay away from the eyes.
Queen Ashzara
- Tank: Tank the two adds. Ashzara’s not tankable.
- DPSers: Interrupt Total Obedience when the boss casts it. Kill puppet hands above people.
Captain Varo’then and Mannoroth
- Don’t stand in the Fel Firestorm. Grab the sword when it drops.
- Tank: tank the Captain until he dies, then tank as many adds as possible. Don’t tank Mannaroth.
- DPSers: Focus-fire Varo’then, then Mannaroth. Don’t worry about adds.
And that’s it!
