Warlock talents in Mists of Pandaria – Affliction, Demonology and Destruction – new WoW 5.0 talent system

Whether you’re an Affliction, Demonology or Destruction warlock, your class just completely changed – again. The new Mists of Pandaria / WoW Patch 5.0 talent system totally changes talents as we know them. Now, we only get one talent every fifteen levels, chosen from a selection of three – but they’re all big talents.

Here’s the complete list of all the Warlock talents, as announced at Blizzcon.

Tier 1/ Level 15 talents: Dark Regeneration, Soul Leech, Harvest of Life

Dark Regeneration

3 min cooldown Instant cast

Restores 50% of your maximum health and increases all healing recieved by 25% over 20 sec.

Soul Leech

Your Shadow Bolt, Incinerate and Malefic Grasp heal you for 15% of the damage dealt.

Harvest of Life

40 yd range 2% of base mana
Channeled

Drains the life from the target and all targets within 20 yards, causing 117 Shadow damage and restoring 2% of the caster’s total health per target every 1 sec. Lasts 3 sec.

Tier 2/ Level 30 talents: Howl of Terror, Mortal Coil, Shadowfury

Howl of Terror

40 sec cooldown Instant cast

Howl, causing 5 enemies within 10 yds to flee in terror for 8 sec. Damage caused may interrupt the effect.

When hit by a damaging attack, the cooldown on Howl of Terror is reduced by 1 sec.

Mortal Coil

30 yd range
45 sec cooldown Instant cast

Causes the enemy target to run in horror for 3 sec. The caster restores 25% of their maximum health.

Shadowfury

30 yd range
30 sec cooldown Instant cast

Shadowfury is unleashed, stunning all enemies within 8 yds for 3 sec.

Tier 3/ Level 45 talents: Spell Drain, Soul Link, Sacrificial Pact

Spell Drain

15 sec cooldown Instant cast

The next single target spell or ability focused at you deals no damage and heals you for half the damage it would have dealt.
Lasts 4 sec.

Soul Link

40 yd range
Instant cast

When active, all damage and healing the Warlock takes is shared with her active demon. That damage cannot be prevented.

Lasts as long as the demon is active and controlled.

Sacrificial Pact

100 yd range
3 min cooldown Instant cast
Your demon sacrifices half its health to prevent all damage you would take for 10 sec.

Tier 4/ Level 60 talents: Blood Fear, Burning Rush, Dark Bargain

Blood Fear

Your Fear is instant, but costs 10% of your maximum health.

Replaces Fear.

Burning Rush

Your life tap causes you to move 25% faster for 8 sec.

Dark Bargain

30 sec cooldown Instant cast

Absorbs damage equal to 20% of your maximum health. Lasts 30 sec.

Any shield remaining when the spell expires is dealt to you as damage.

Tier 5/ Level 75 talents: Grimoire of Supremacy, Grimoire of Service, Grimoire of Sacrifice

Grimoire of Supremacy

You command stronger demons, replacing your normal minions. These demons deal 10% additional damage and have more powerful abilities.

Summon Fel Imp
Summon Voidlord
Summon Shivan
Summon Beholder
Summon Abyssal
Summon Terrorguard

Grimoire of Service

2 min cooldown Instant cast

Instantly summon a second demon, who fights for 30 sec.

Grimoire of Sacrifice

50,000 yd range
2 min cooldown Instant cast

You sacrifice your demon to gain increased damage and health. Lasts for 5 min.

Summoning another demon cancels the effect.

Tier 6/ Level 90 talents: Archimonde’s Vengeance, Kil’jaeden’s Cunning, Mannoroth’s Fury

Archimonde’s Vengeance

40 yd range
1 min cooldown Instant cast

Curse an enemy, causing them to suffer 25% of all damage you take. Lasts 15 sec.

Kil’jaeden’s Cunning

You can cast and channel while moving, but doing so doubles the cast time or period of the spell.

Mannoroth’s Fury

2 min cooldown Instant cast
Shadowbolt, Incinerate and Malefic Grasp deal 10% splash damage to enemies between you and your target.

Active:
You can activate this ability to increase the splash amount to 100% for 20 sec. The passive effect ceases until the cooldown resets.
